As one of the largest non-profits in Colorado, the Colorado Health Foundation was in need of a website and marketing collateral that clearly communicated their vision: to make Colorado the healthiest state in the nation. We began by defining their three areas of focus: Healthy Living, Health Care and Health Coverage. We then developed visual identities for each commitment area so that grantees can easily understand where to apply for financing to support their cause. After this strategy was in place, we extended it to all major brand touchpoints.
This included the design of TCHF’s website, which balances quality design with a large amount of information. We used healthy, energetic photography and saturated colors to engage the user, while also making the navigation intuitive so that visitors can dig deep to learn about the different grant areas. The Health Report Card is a unique piece that is updated every year and defines the “health” of Colorado by grading the state’s performance in a variety of areas.
